Jenny: "Hi Julie!.... I'm super excited to start the program!"
(I send Jenny the initial documents that include an introduction, shopping lists, recipe outlines for the week and not so clear intimidating instructions asking people to make everything yourself - from scratch). The next e-mail I get from Jenny follows:
I'm confused...do I need to be making something with a pineapple? uh........my head hurts.
Then again, maybe I'm just being a wimp? I just know I don't have time this week to be milking nuts or making my own buttah.....it's too much, even for this vegan."
(My reactions: yikes! perhaps this is impossible for people. Given this is the test run, I use the opportunity to clarify the instructions, edit shopping lists, and re-send to participants...and wait Jenny's response. Our email exchange finishes as:
Julie: "Just wanted to check with you to see if the Challenge. Feel free to contact me at any point if you are lost, confused etc... "
Jenny: "Yep just bought all the stuff! and Haha don't worry I will! The subject line will be HELP!
