"Julie's classes are for those who want to get back to the basics, know exactly what is in their food but not have hours each day for cooking and want to get back to the roots of good, healthy cooking. My most favourite recipe is the cashew khir - it takes literally secods to do, is the tastiest way I know to eat brown rice, is a delicious dessert and breakfast, keeps me full and you can make a bowl of it to last for days."

"Julie does wonders when dealing with groups. She always makes sure that she works within dietary restrictions and provides different options for those who do. Her events have a perfect blend of observation and interaction with her audience. Feedback from our group has always been inspirational and delicious, especially for those who are limited in their meal choices. Julie is also very easy to contact and she stays on top of her events making sure she is prepared. Being an Event Manager, reaching out to Julie to host a cooking event never makes me worry about the execution of the class."
~ Wendy Ngo, Event Manager for Events & Adventures Vancouver

"Julie has a passion for healthy cooking; people will leave her class inspired. I have always tried to eat healthy, but then I end up craving processed foods and slowly introduced processed foods back in my diet. Since I have taken Julie’s classes, I have maintained a healthy lifestyle. The dishes she teaches are delicious and totally simple to make. Julie’s recipes are part of my daily diet."

"Julie is passionate about her work. Her classes are a practical hands on way of getting back to the whole foods we all need to incorporate into our daily lives. You'll come away from the class with a can-do attitude of new ways to shop and prepare whole foods quickly and easily. Julie provides great back up notes of all aspects of the class so one doesn't forget what they learned. Do yourself a favour and take as many of Julie's classes as you can! So you can do it for yourself."~ Brian Brooke, Retired & LOVES Salads, Reading, Travelling and Learning!

"Julie is an amazing person and a fabulous instructor. She is passionate about food, teaching, and making sure you get the most out of her classes. She has put a lot of time and effort into ensuring that you get the best information and tips possible. I learned a tonne in her class, and can't wait to book my next one!"

"I hosted a healthy cooking class at my house with 6 other participants and we had a fabulous time! Julie is knowledgable, informative, creative and makes the class a lot of fun. My favorite dish is the banana avocado cacao mousse. Now my teenagers can eat all the 'chocolate pudding' they like, not knowing they are eating healthy food."
~ Lorraine Sims, Personal and Leadership Coach & LOVES Family, Enjoying Art, Dancing and Writing
"Julie. Thank you so much for teaching the healthy cooking course. It was so much fun. I thought the course was excellent value. I learned how to use a whole bunch of new ingredients I would never otherwise try. I loved how we re-used ingredients in a variety of different recipes because it allowed us to see their versatility and experiment with them. The atmosphere was informal and fun. I learned how easy and affordable healthy cooking can be. The resources you provide in your handouts are excellent. I will definitely be signing up for more courses in the future!

"I had the pleasure and privilige of attending Julie's Fall Flavours dinner event, an evening which far exceeded my expectations. The flavors were absolutely exquisite - especially the marriage of apples with rosemary and coconut yam and red bean soup - and the flax vinaigrette salad dressing was delicious. The meal was incredibly satisfying and refreshingly healthy, and it was wonderful to learn about simple, yet nutritious food combinations while dining. Good food, good health and good company - it doesn't get better than that! Thank you Julie!!"

"Julie has a lovely way of presenting food with warmth and flair. She pairs different foods together like old friends. That friendship and warmth is then passed on to her guests, making her group dinners a friendly and festive affair. Do come out and experience Julie's yummy group dinners, and I promise you will be inspired to prepare such tasty nutritious food for your own dinner guests!"
